Born in 1971, Ruzena is an outsider artist living in the south west of France, near Bordeaux. After university studies, she works, since 1997, in the cultural circle as a civil servant.

Ever since she was a child, she never stopped drawing, in this way escaping reality.

At the age of 20 she discovered the art brut artists and the writings of Jean Dubuffet: the combination of madness, lack of culture and creation fascinate her and encourage her to go on creating without any teaching, just deriving from her inner world.

Her work has previously been exhibited in London and Paris, and in many mixed shows, the last of which was l’Art Partage, Parc de l’Orgere in Rives.
